There are four major cross-regional competitive events held in varying locations throughout the year. The top team(s) from each region is/are qualified to participate the events and compete for the prize pools (except All-Star). Mid-Season Invitational (MSI): May (Spring Split champion from each region) Rift Rivals (RR): July (Spring Split top 3 in case of NA) World Championship (WC): Sept./Oct. - Oct./Nov. (Summer Split top 3 from each region) All-Star Event: Dec. (fan-voted 5 all stars from each region) Clutch Gaming no longer have a chance to represent NA at MSI, but depending on the result of the 3rd place match this Saturday, they may be able to be qualified for their 1st international event at Rift Rivals. So they have more reason to finish this split strong.
