Ok, my girlfriend and I have 2 1/2 weeks to move out of our apt (lease ended). We're looking for a loft in the downtown area. rent can be anywhere from 1000-1300. Doesn't have to be to big. 750sqft is about what we're looking for. any ideas or suggestions?
The Dakota Lofts are on the east side of downtown. They were the very first lofts actually built downtown. They are probably closer to your price range than most downtown, which can range between $2500 and $5000 per month.
I'm not sure what you consider downtown but I used to live in the Alexan Lofts on Runnels. Very roomy for the price. I had a 1,100+ sqft. 1/1 loft the falls in the price range you listed. The only bad thing is that the Alexan Lofts is in the east side of Downtown where it has not been fully developed like Midtown. And if you're sensitive to noise then avoid the Alexan since an active train track is right next to it. Goodluck in your search!
