Just thought you guys would like to know about a few benefits coming up this weekend. A lot of really good folks involved. My band will be playing the Continental Club benefit on Sunday.

    Saturday, September 10

    Last Concert Cafe - 5pm
Includes: Zwee, Skyblue72, Best Kept Secret and more bands to be announced.

    Saturday & Sunday, September 10-11

    Numbers
Includes: Bring Back the Guns, Arthur Yoria, Spain Colored Orange, Sheltered Life, Hellfire Revival, Deafening, Sharks and Sailors, Heist at Hand, Michael Haaga, Inner Lights (the John Sparrow), Camino, Pale, dUNE TX, Melovine and deSANGRE

    Sunday, September 11

    Contintenal Club
Includes: Clay Farmer, Lisa Novak, Norma Zenteno, orange is in, Micheal Haaga (dude is busy), Joe King Carasco and others...

    ---

Good fun for a good cause. Tell all your friends. And considering that Numbers and Continental Club are less than 5 minutes apart by car, everyone should be able to go to both on Sunday.

Just wanted to bump and update.

The Sunday show at Continental Club is a good one...

Lisa Novak, Clay Farmer, Lee Alexander, Zydeco Dots, orange is in (my band), Lanky, Small Sounds, Norma Zenteno, John Evans, Joe King Carrasco.

The Numbers show should be great both nights as well and anyone wanting a great jam atmosphere should go to Last Concert Saturday.

By the way, if you have never seen Kermit Ruffins and/or the Rebirth Brass Band, they are playing at Sammy's downtown Saturday. This is the most famous brass band in New Orleans and Kermit Ruffins is like a modern day Louis Armstrong. I had the pleasure of seeing them at Tipatina's in NOLA in the spring. It was the first time Ruffins had played with Rebirth (the band he founded) since he split from them 20 years ago.

They were AMAZING! If you aren't bopping your head or tapping your foot at the least watching them, you probably aren't breathing either. :D
