If any of you are interested in Dominion/Ascension style deck building card games, there's a new game coming from an Austin-based company called "Cuisine a la Card"

I was attempting to explain it, but I gave up and just decided to post what they have on the Kickstarter website.

"Cuisine a la Card is a fast-paced, competitive deck-building card game of creating and submitting meals for a panel of judges.

Cuisine a la Card is a competitive deck building card game for 2-4 players. Play as chefs, crafting the finest meals out of the ingredients available to you, and submitting those meals to discerning and capricious judges for Medals. In this intense world of culinary competition, Tasting Spoons are your currency, your Warming Tray may be your greatest asset or your worst nightmare, and a simple dash of Salt may just be what you need to tip the balance in your favor and win the game."

They had it at SXSW, and it's super fun. My wife isn't as much into playing games, and she really enjoyed this one. They've had some really good professional reviews (they have links in the Kickstarter page) so I think it's legit.

Anyway, the Kickstarter is actually doing pretty well, but they haven't hit their goal yet and I just want to make sure I get my own copy! So if you're interested in games like this check it out.

Backing up with the basic package. I've played a bit of Ascension, but really got into board games with the DC Comics Deck Building game.

I stop supporting Kickstarter after I pledged for 2 different projects and the creator just told us lies and ran off with the money. Kickstarter does not care once they get there cut and has no power to enforce the creator to finish and supply the project. Just be very careful on what you support.

Checked up and it's getting pretty close to funding. Seriously y'all should check this game out if you play board games.
