Oh well... I wanted Ft. Worth to win, but it was an amazing game anyways.

Damn that was a good game. Kelly was the pitcher and he k'd 21. Kentucky had several players that looked like they were 25. i think the thing that really hurt Ft. Worth is that they had very little power. They played a great game and I know it took a lot of effort to get this far. I was pulling for them but they just fell a little short.

Which US team has that little kid who is like 3 ft tall? I saw him tear it up on the Sportscenter highlights. The team with that kid is the team I want to see win.

I disagree 100%. The appeal is the reasons they play the game, the fact you get to see the Kids express themselves on national TV, the way you get to remember your little league experience.

To me baseball is baseball, and quite frankly ever since the LLWS has been televised, I have watched it. The announcers could stop projecting future greatness for these youngsters, but then if they can't do that what is the fun of announcing.

Like the Harlem kids, when Jeremy Lopez hit two home runs in the same game with the 2nd a grand slam, I couldn't help but be entertained. Same with that crazy 11-8 game, or Guam's 12th run 6th inning rally over Canada. Those to me are memorable games.

I don't care to hear TV isn't right for these games because quite frankly, without TV most average fans can't drive to Williamsport, PA to watch them in person.

I think what ABC/ESPN have done for the Little Leaguers is cool, and let's let them enjoy their moment in the sun, and not worry about two groups of Adults who often act less mature than these kids while failing to find a way to peacefully share all of MLB's enormous revenues.

Anyone notice how they put the Little League game on ESPN and the pro games on ESPN2??
I actually enjoy watching the kids play more than the pros. That was a helluva game tonight.
I would put my money on Japan winning it all, its seems like they are killing everyone.

btw, anyone else want that showboating team from Harlem to fall flat on their face? I hope Massachusetts beats them by 20.

    Truly an awesome game!

    Both starting pitchers were dominant!

I really thought the best part was listening to the coaches, neither were baseball geniuses but to hear them talk to thwe kids was great!

If you had kids in Little League, you would understand. I think it's fascinating.
