I might be taking a job that would require travel throughout the dallas area, so i was looking to get an apartment in a somewhat central (or easily accessible location). I do prefer the northside, highland park, preston, galleria, addison, downtown areas but i think irving, and maybe some parts of plano/richardson could work too. just trying to get an idea of what the best places to be are, in terms of accessing highways, traffic, restaurants, shopping, etc close by

Does anyone know of any good apartment complexes, or high rises, lofts, etc? Rent in the area of about 600-900 for a one or 2 bedroom?

    thanks

I live in Richardson, it's really convenient in terms of highways(75, 635, George Bush highway). There're also lots of shopping places since it is a college area.

I live in the village, a group of complex's with a country club type setting...A little older, but definetly in your price range and off of Lover's & 75 (between Downtown and the Galleria/Northside)...With summer coming up, I highly recommend this place as the pool parties at the club pool are insane...Beautiful babies everywhere...You'll find everything is outrageously expensive, especially near downtown like uptown off of McKinney (lofts)
