WAS ALMOST AS MUCH FUN AS WINNING:D :D :D

Man Heinson was PMSing pretty hard wasn't he?:D My favorite one was when Peirce blew a layup, and he was complaining about the no call, there wasn't anybody that came close to fouling him. The one where SF was carrying the ball was pretty good to.

Some of Steve's moves are just amazing. People will always find some way to complain b/c what he does is unbelievable.

Francis looks like he travels every time he goes into the paint but my wife and I watch most questionable drives on my Tivo in slow motion and he only takes to steps. They're like Carl Lewis steps but they're only two.:D :D :D

I'd love to strangle that guy for a couple of minutes. The Pierce one was the best...he was quiet for a couple of seconds after the highlight, but he couldn't admit he was wrong.

Yep. Remeber it's Boston; the most vocal, opinionated, homer, biased fans around. Even during non-winning seasons.

Jonny Red Kerr from Chicago is the same way.

And so are both broadcasters from Sac.

I like the Boston announcers. Sure, the most biased in the league... but they're fairly knowledgeable and not mean-spirited (like the Spurs announcers).

They used Tommy's commentary for the Battie foul on Yao on Sportscenter :)

That was really funny. Tommy is a real character.

BTW, I think Yao should learn how to flop from Divac over the summer. He doesn't have to outmuscle them every time.

Did you catch the part, Sportscenter even played it, when Yao was trying to set up in the post and Battie grabbed him by the jersey, pulled Yao's jersey half off of his chest and threw him to the floor and he just went bonkers! It was clearly a foul, you can't grab a handful of a guy's jersey and not expect to be called.

Some of you who have criticized Bill and Calvin should be much more appreciative after reading about these guys . . .

Speaking of, did any of you locals hear when Calvin was doing play by play while Bill was in the bathroom? It was hilarious...

they were pretty merciless on cat for not passing (twice) to a wide open Yao before throwing it out of bounds off steve. valid criticism of the play, but they didn't show his 3 to force OT (or did i blink & miss it?)...

Tommy annoyed me tonight...what was up with his complaints about the 3 seconds on yao? and his "that deserved 1.5 tommy points" statements?

But he does crack me up when he busts out his "I LOVE WALTER" moments. :)

I have League Pass and like to watch the Celtics. Gorman and Heinsohn are good and knowledgeable announcers although not nearly as entertaining as Calvin and Bill. I have never in 3+ seasons of League Pass heard Heinsohn piss and moan like that. Never. (BobFinn**...if your out there back me up on this one).

This game was unusual and exceptional to the point where I thought about sending Hiensohn an e-mail and asking him if there was something awry in his personal life.

By the way, I'm Old School and the xver thing is d**n close to a carry and that hop step thing the officials don't call today is a walk and Shaq rocking into an opponent would have been called a charge not that long ago. IMO, officiating has changed to allow the game to open up more. And I'm not so sure that's a good thing.
