Former basketball star Charles Barkley and TNT have completed a deal for a live talk show, LISTEN UP! CHARLES BARKLEY WITH ERNIE JOHNSON. Barkley will team with INSIDE THE NBA's Ernie Johnson for a studio show about sports and more. The half hour show will premiere on Thursday, October 31 at 7 PM EST. "We can't make it a puffy show," Barkely said. "I don't like shows where people just hype movies. I want to challenge people to think. Sounds like the best damn sports show period. The two best things about it is that it is going to be LIVE, and it's the Chuckster. By himself, he is better than Kruk, Sally, Arnold, and Irvin.
Anything with Charles is hilarious, and his insanity will be balanced by the sanity of Ernie Johnson.
I think I'm going to like it. If it's better than BDSSP I'm probably going to love it, but I think they'll need to add a third guy. Cause it might a be a wilder version (Charles) of PTI.
Oh yeah, you know I'll be watching! Good to see that the NBA is getting a real personality now that Disney is in on the fun!
