Hes a solid role player. Doesnt doing anything great but does everything well.

Averaged 11, 3, and 3 shooting 36% from 3 playing 6th man minutes for a stretch at the end of last season.

Would have been nice to have him.

RHJ, Johnson will likely have to settle for minimum deals later, they can't shoot, but can defend. As just another forward backup (3rd string), one could go after a guy like Dante Cunningham, again, minimum. Guys who can either defend 3/4 or even 2/3/4.

Jamychal Green seems like one who can draw a bit more money, so he will beore difficult to get, similar situation for Marcus Morris who are both the best options.

Amir Johnson is still a solid player, only 32, and he's a guy that's prodyces when he hits the floor. He can replace Nene as a vet big off the bench if McGee doesn't work out.

Avery Bradley if he can't get more than minimum offers can be a guard option off the bench in case of injury. His defense is good man to man and he can hit the three.

I'm okay with picking up RHJ for the min. Which Johnson are you talking about in your first sentence?
Amir played very poorly for Philly this outgoing season.

Nope. Couldn't trade Mason until 30 days into next regular season.

I think the Rockets should definitely add a third pg for depth (unless Ponds is that guy), a true pg, cause Rivers isn't really that kind of player, now i don't know if Mason is that guy though, for the few times i saw him he looked like a guy with energy and guts, some talent in scoring, not much playmaking, but for a third string he might be good enough, i don't really know. Ian Clark is an interesting name imo, but while he can score he's not really a pg, not sure he's still free agent though.

Frank Mason would be a bit redundant with Rivers and Ponds. We need to focus on forwards and centers.

The still can’t shoot and overall inefficient Stanley Johnson. Still young, interested in and solid on defense, and has size and mobility to guard multiple positions.

Johnson is a better shooter (though still poor), and he is a year younger, but is he a better option than Hollis-Jefferson who has shown much more ability and production in other areas, but also can’t shoot (even worse with his hitch like shot)?

Jefferson is more of a PF, not a SF like he gets listed as, but really a combo forward is just better. He runs the floor and attacks the basket very well, gets to the line, rebounds, good hands on defense, but man oh man, he cannot shoot.
