Hello all you BS....errr.....BBS peeps! Question - do any of you use LinkedIn or Plaxo (or another similar platform)? If so, what do you use it for, and how has it helped (or not helped) your professional networking capabilities. Any examples??
I am registered in LinkedIn, but have used it more as a Myspace for professionals. I have found some classmates and reconnected and have looked at their connections, but haven't used it to find a new career. I was invited by a lady in HR, which is a good benefit to me since a lot of her HR friends are now in my network. If/when the time comes for a new job, I see it as an avenue to pursue.
