I have a Cleaning The Glass subscription.

People were saying you can't have Alpi and Amen on the court together, spacing wouldn't work.

The lineup I really want to see is Alpi, Tari and Amen on the court at the same time.

Eventually, I would like to see that with Reed Sheppard and Steven Adams, but Ime has never played Alpi and Adams together so far.

Anyway, I looked at the Alpi/Tari/Amen combination to see how we would do in terms of +/-.

    Here you go:

Obviously small sample size, but...+34.3, 100th percentile.

Let me know if you want me to check out any other player combinations.

    No Brooks & Fred.

    Udoka dislike it.

Honestly, I want to see Amen and Eason in the starting line up. Amen is not a true point guard, but he is playing way better than FVV. Jabari really came into his own vs GS.
I believe Jalen will bounce back soon with this lineup.
Sengun will have to be the 5, at the start. I want him to work as a point center, and get closer to the basket later.

Tiny, tiny sample size so far. This lineup never played together last season, and only 5 possessions this season.

    Already said it, but...

Alpi / Adams - Brooks - McVeigh - R33d - FVV Alpi inside surrounded by shooters; I think Brooks & Shep give you sneaky good defense; high bball IQ

Bari - Tari - Amen - Thrilla / Cam - Holiday Just get out and go

Jalen/Amen/Tari/Sengun/Adams is probably the lineup I most want to see on the court.
Reed/Jalen/Amen/Tari/Sengun is what I'd hope our starters are in the next couple years.
Amen/Jalen/Cam/Tari/Sengun would maximise our talent based on who we drafted I think, but I'm not sure the increase in offense from Cam would make up for the decrease in defensive prowess unless either he or Sengun make a similar jump to Jalen's defensive jump this season.

Just play Tari more, that's the key.

I don't care if he starts or not but he should be playing 30+ mpg. There's really no logical reason why he shouldn't.

Not sure they need to be starting, but they wreck **** on the court together.

yes, please. Alpi/Adams. Oops, you can’t. However, I await its day.

Q: certain players trust specific teammates the most. Back when KPj roamed the streets err ToyShop floor he and JG were in lockstep. Who does Jaylen (seem to) align himself with now?

They have to fire Udoka to do that, he is a control freak who is winning enough to be close to the Play In.

My favorite lineup for crunch time:
    FVV
    Jalen
    Holiday
    Whitmore
    Brooks

Super small 5 against minion teams. 100% win rate if Ime benches Sengun 30+ minutes per game

Green / Thompson / Tari / Bari / Sengun. Or Green / Thompson / Brooks / Bari / Sengun. Basically, Green and Sengun with three of Tari / Bari / Thompson / Brooks. Three big wings, a traditional big, and a primary scoring threat at guard.

For that lineup to have any chance of long term success, Udoka needs to find a way to break Sengun’s habit of passing up open 3s.

    Reed, Holiday, Brooks, Tari, Sengun
    Reed, Holiday, Brooks, Tari, Adams

Fred, Cam, and Jock minutes are hurting us. Play the guys that we win with. I don't care what their names are or how much money they make.

    Let the winners play.

    Championship Lineup:
    FVV
    JALEN
    JEFF GREEN
    LANDALE
    ADAMS

Which teams can score against this team? DEFENSE matters.

Not a perfect lineup and would probably not be good right now...

    Reed
    Holiday
    Tari
    Jabari
    Sengun

I want to see Sengun with spacing and Rockets really don't have enough shooting to put out a balanced lineup with shooting. I think an open offense would help Reed as well. Jabari's got to shoot better more often. Could replace Holiday with FVV when FVV finds his shot. Could replace Holiday with Green when Green is shooting well.

It will be easier for Sengun to learn how to deal with double teams when he gets positive reinforcement in the form of made 3s when he passes out.
