Just wanted to see how many of us would rather Tank or try to contend with Dwight.

And of course looking to make a move in next years free agency.

these routes are the two directions we obviously need to head towards..assuming the summer league team with Lin wouldnt make the playoffs . But Lin and Dwight would.

No more being stuck in the middle...please

I'm afraid Lin and the rooks will win too many games.

I would say Lin and Howard, but how's Dwight's recovery coming along? Herniated disk is no joke.

If Dwight got traded to Houston, he's sitting out at very least half the season. no doubt.

I would rather they win a lot of games and build confidence rather than becoming a team that expects to lose and loses all pride and confidence. I do not want us to become like the bobcats ;)

It's not even CLOSE. None of the players on this team have superstar upside. Even if one of them manages to squeeze out every drop of potential they have, none of them will ever be as good as Dwight Howard. Not Lin, not Lamb, not White, not even Motiejunas.

You go for the superstar every time, and build around him.

I agree with your sentiment, but disagree with the statement that none of them will be as good as Howard. There is a 1% chance.

If we go for Dwight chances are he will leave after the season and we won't have any rookies thus leaving us with not even a opportunity to have one become a star let alone a superstar. You can't predict which players become stars such as Dwayne wade. No one knew he would become what he is. I'd rather take my chances with our rookies and hopefuly sign someone like Bynum who actually wants to play here

Fans of other teams would pick Lin & Dwight. Only we Rocket fans value our rookies.

Possibly true but the fact is you trade more then half of ALL the potential these rookies bring, plus your draft picks to rent Howard for a year and keep Magic castoffs like Turkaglo for that damage the team's cap potential even after Howard leaves. Howard couldn't pull that cast of characters very far in the Eastern conference, we will be back at the 14th at best if he even tries over here.

Rebuild process with Lin and the younger players is shorter without the need the loss of draft picks, potential for in house growth and we maintain cap space flexibility.

Keep our rookies, tank, draft Nerlens Noel either by using our own pick or moving up using both ours and raptors pick and/or our youth.
