I recently downloaded this version. I have used limewire plenty in the past mostly for downloading songs. What I have a question on is how to turn the connection to the internet off. On all past versions I have used there has always been a "disconnect" button under the file tab. But this version does not have this. It seem I have to close out the program in order to disconnect. I like to disconnect while listening to songs just downloaded because with the connection on sometimes the songs get chopped up.
