I couldn't make it throught the whole fight scene. I felt like too much of a nerd just by watching it.

Nerds, maybe...but that is a lot of editing talent. Wonder what kind of budget they had for that and what they used for the effects. Those guys, if they can do that with whatever they cobbled together at home, could possibly make a lot of money with a kickass job one day.
I'm betting that is a lot simpler and cheaper to do these days than it looks. Probably just time consuming.
Time consuming, for me, does count as work. And I'm not talking about just adding the lightsaber effects, which are a b*tch to do at low levels from what I understand. It's actually well edited, period.
they could have easily killed each other (or at least cut an arm off or something) earlier than they did...they didn't take advantage of weak defensive moves. they were poor fighters...but good editors.
