Time for another "Who are those people around you" thread. After surpassing 1,000 posts at an embarrassing rate, I had to reflect on my bbs/chat life. So, I decided to get away for awhile and have a movement by myself. When I was done with that, I decided that writing posts from my laptop on the John is not something that is healthy for me to continue. For a brief moment during the Bulls game, I thought of purging myself of ClutchCity until next season. But then my girlfriend stopped staring at me and walked back out of the room, and I was back typing away at the game chat. Could you purge this bbs from your life? Cold turkey, or the step program? If you can't answer that, what other caves do you think members around you attend? Who do you think gets around the most? I'm pretty shure Mantronix is the stealth moderator for alt.conspiracies.black.helicopter

I'm on step 6 to recovery. It's not easy, but the first thing you've got to do is admit you've got a problem Crisco. There's no rapid detox, you need to withdraw slowly, One post at a time. ------------------ humble, but hungry.

I do not ever write while on the toilet (of course, I do not have a laptop - making that rather difficult). You have only been registered a few weeks longer than I have (I was the first week in November) and my numbers are paltry compared to yours. I think after 1000 posts, you have no choice, the BBS is in your blood - you get the shakes. It burns. You are a lost cause. I, like Crisco, am just riding the wave for a little while. I am using the BBS - it is not using me. Once I have "experienced" it enough, I will stop. I almost stopped a few weeks ago, then I saw all of those ????'s and !!!!'s and had no choice but to click on them so they would stop yelling at me... What was the topic of this post again? Using the laptop on the toilet? Thats crazy. I already spend enough time in there with a magazine or something. The nice thing about sitting on the pot is that no one can bother you while you are in there. But, if I had a computer in there.....nevermind. Thats just too scary a thought! Well, I have been here since 1996 and I can tell you that I almost quit one time when Clutch told me that you can go blind doing this too much. Last time I checked, I got 20/20 vision so I am not quitting! I have been posting here for a little wile myself , at first it was none stop , I would have this page open at all times and refresh every once in a wile but then I slowly started to come to .......... HeyPartner that only happened to me once(and will never happen again): there was less then a minute to go. And I just had to go but the game was so close. Thankfully I have a long phone cord.
