My best friend is in the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity and one of his frat brothers had a stroke last week. I have know this particular individual for a while, actually longer than my friend has and I myself always considerd him cool. Well we found out this morning that that after they took him off the machine his kidneys failed and his brain continued to swell and it appears as if he will not make it any further in this life. He was set to graduate from college this Spring but now it looks as if he will not reach that goal although I am still holding out hope. I had another friend pass away the week before Christmas in a car accident at the age of 21 and she was set to graduate in December of this year. After witnessing these two I have come to really embrace the idea that life really is too short. I hope I can live it to the fullest from here until my time is gone and I hope all of you do the same.
very well said. enjoy every day...every moment. don't let the little crap ruin your day. "every day should be a good day to die. don't let the troubles in your head steal too much time, you'll soon be dead." - dave matthews
thats exactly what i was thinkin droxford. Alcohol, plus kidney's, plus frat. Either way Fu#% like a pornstar party like a rockstar and live like a pop star.
Sorry to hear about it. Every time I say goodbye to my wife, kid, and family, I give 'em a kiss and tel 'em I love 'em. And I say it with sincerity eveyr time. Never know what's gonna happen.
Lil Pun, I'm so sorry for what you've had to go through the last few months. This is a terribly tragic story and I hope it reminds all of us to appreciate the time we have because "you never know" when it may end.
