Has anyone read 'Life of Pi'? It really is a great read (as the title of this thread said). Basically it's about a boy (called Pi) raised in India, and his father owns a zoo. When they move to Canada, they take some of the animals on the boat with them, but the boat sinks, and Pi is left on a life raft with a tiger, a zebra, and a hyena. The rest of the story tells how he survives with the animals (especially the tiger), it really is a magnificant story. And it is a true one, as well. It starts of a bit slow, and for the first few chapters I was totally confused about what was happening. But the story began to make sense, and I don't regret reading it. Pick it up, if you have the time. edit: forgot to mention that it's written by Yann Martel.
I don't want to spoil anything too much, so stop reading now if you are about to read the book. Not a major spoiler or anything, though. But, that zebra soon had only 3 legs. And then it died.
