Lewis re-injures shoulder in preseason game vs. Utah

    Rashard re-injured his shoulder again in the game tonight. It was the same shoulder that he injured last season and it is unknown how long he will be out. With an injured Lewis and an unhappy Payton, things aren't looking up in Seattle.

    It wasn't lookin good for Seattle even before the injured Lewis/unhappy payton. ;)

    I'm sorry for Rashard (it's Mo T last year all over again) and Sonics fans. At the same time, it almost feels as if the fates are taking cues from NBA refs and compensating the Rocks for all the bad luck we had last year by inflicting bad luck on our WC competitors. Kinda eerie.

    You know, when I look back on all the positive things that have happened to the Rockets since last season, I have to ask: none of you guys sold your soul at the beginning of offseason, right? Right? :D

    Too bad for Rashard. Man, what's going on? Injuries here, injuries there. The Sonics and the Paper Clips. Just goes to show you the fragility of the NBA season. One second you're on top, the next, you're glad you don't have to surrender your draft pick next summer like, uh, us?

    If Rashard is still hurt come Dec. 15th, maybe we can imagine that the Sonics will want to unload him, and we can start the trade for Rashard threads.

    Maybe they'll take Glen Rice for Rashard Lewis. :) Hey it happened to us last year with Maurice Taylor, Glen Rice, and quite a bit with Cat and SF so no sympathy from me for the Sonics. Nothing personal, sorry he's hurt but it happens.
