I'm quite sure we're in playoff.

I also know that Mike wilks will be the one out of the roster. Another one? You pick!
I would like to say Oak..., why? old and newbie in this team :D :D

I think you have to put Oak in there just in case we need someone to pick up a hard foul or hack Shaq if we possibly match up with them. I think that comes down to Boke-Pike-A. Griffin....I'd like to see Griffin not make the roster, but it will probably be Pike.

Of course I could be way off, and maybe after the 10 days we wont even pick up Oak's contract.

I thought the Rox can't put Oak on the playoff roster because we acquired him after the playoff roster deadline has passed?

I think its been already discussed but since he never signed with a team before in the season the deadline doesnt apply to him. I guess its similar to how the pacers last year signed tim hardaway for the playoffs.

    Yao Ming
    Steve Francis
    Cuttino Mobley
    Jim Jackson
    Maurice Taylor
    Kelvin Cato
    Clarence Weatherspoon
    Eric Piatkowski
    Bostjan Nachbar
    Scott Padgett
    Mark Jackson
    Mike Wilks
    Charles Oakley
    Adrian Griffin

If I were to pick 2 guys to be left off, they would be Mike Wilks and Charles Oakley. However, I think Van Gundy will pick Mike Wilks and Scott Padgett.

I'd be really happy if Kelvin Cato were healthy for the playoffs so that we wouldn't need Charles Oakley. Per se Oakley wouldn't be so bad except that at least Steve and the rest of the team are used to playing with Cato.

The team is still getting used to playing with Oakley, so come playoff time, Cato would be more valuable than Oakley. Of course, for fouls and if necessary, some rough play, Oakley has it in his game.

I hope too that Jim Jackson is healthy for the playoffs.

Wilks and Oakley - off playoff roster - my guess

as much as i don't want to say it, and nobody wants to hear it, i don't think boki will make the roster (assuming we sign oak for the season)

    Why?

he's young, and has no playoff experience.
you think he cracks under pressure regularly, you don't want to see him on the court for game seven. yes, he played clutch at the end of one game, but do you think gundy will really give him such large responsibility with a guy who's shining this season was a 5pt 8 board game where he missed all but one of his shots?

padge, oak, agriff and even pike (?) have been to the playoffs, and that experience is something our team needs. and since gundy is not a developmental coach, and obviously favors old men to younger inexperienced ones, I'm going to have to bet against boki making the roster.

    Let's see.

Who gets the most DNP - coach's decision?

If Cato's still out, Padgett is relatively safe.
Boki, A Griff are two likely candidates, though one will have to stay (for Jimmy Jam's backup).
I think Pike is relatively safe. Sometimes we need a sharpshooter to spread the floor.

The Oak will definitely be there for the playoffs. Gonna need him to enforce the no fly zone in the lane....

Today, Griffin was put on the IR and Wilks was activated, don't know about that move though.

Yep, looks like Griffin won't be in. When Cato is back, Wilks will be "injured" again.
