    Seems like a solid backup. Especially with Lowry currently injured.

    However, the turnovers will be a problem. This team is very turnover prone anyway

    By all accounts he's on to the next one, in New York.

    Would rather Lowry anyway personally.

    Yeah that could happen. I will update if it does. I kind of hope we hold onto him though, I like his potential and we saw how bad it was having Lowry go down and Brooks being our only PG.

    Doesn't Martin play PG, too? So Houston has two ball-handlers with Ariza in the starting lineup.

    If he ends up in NY and I'm sure Mike D'Antoni likes him, what conceivably would the Rockets get back from NY?

    Trade exception.

    What's more valuable than the TE itself would be the salary space which could help the Rockets make a followup where they are in position to absorb salary. Rockets still haven't gotten the playmaker or backup big man Gerrson Rosas briefly mentioned as areas they could upgrade.


    For e.g:

    TE + Taylor (seperate trade via min exception) + 2010 1stR pick for McGee would help the Wiz get closer or under LT if they aren't already.

    The reason I would like to keep Rodriguez is, it sounds like his ceiling is Aaron Brooks + 3 inches + great passing and court vision.

    I'm sure his shooting isn't nearly to Brooks' level yet, but if you look at his stats from year to year, it has been developing well.

    Wasn't Morey all over this guy, but Blazers took him before our pick and we ended up getting Aaron Brooks later.

    They pulled same crap the next year when they took Rudy Fernandez before our pick as well.

    Seems that Sergio might be trying out for a spot. If you can somehow get Tyrus Thomas, you'll have 2 expirings that could be resigned next year and they are still fairly young.
