I've been following Houston sports for 25 years. If there is 1 thing that I have learn as far as football, it is that nothing is certain. The Texans want to win. If they get the next 4, then they'll look at it as a 4 game winning streak - not 5-11. I don't trust the Texans to lose out (if that makes any sense). Having said that. If Bush, Leinert, and Ferguson are already gone, who do you pick? I really like A.J. Hawk, because I think our defense will change to 4-3. We could still pick up a few decent lineman if we make this pick. Our run defense would significantly improve.
sad part is. . . i think we may win this weekend and against San Francisco so we may have no less than 3 wins. . . so hawke maybe gone by then as well Rocket River
If we switch to a 4-3, which I think we will, we need to select a DE so Mario Williams and Mathias Kiwanuka would be options. Or we could select LT Joe Thomas who some people think may move ahead of D'Brick as the top LT.
