For Steve and Cat. Two guys who always played hard, and wanted to win. Two guys who loved this city and this team. I understand why they were traded, I am thrilled that McGrady is here, but I will miss Steve and Cat. Not entirely for basketball reasons, but I hate to see these two guys traded after coming up in our organization and turning into great players before our eyes. Now, on with the reign of Tmac and Yao!
Cat showed some serious loyalty...taking less than he probably could have gotten to stay here. I sort of feel like we should have at least let him play here till the last year of his contract. It's hard to let go of a guy like that when we feel like we got something out of nothing (2d rounder).
