This is where you take wild guesses, careful deductions, or intuitions on how much the Rockets will offer Luis Scola and Kyle Lowry. My guess Scola - 4 years 35 mil. Lowry - 3 years 12 mil.
It is not about what Houston gives them, it is about what other teams give for Lowry and Scola If someone gives Scola 4 years 40, or Houston matches the offer or don't, letting the player go because they don't want to overpay How much both players will earn don't depend on the Rox, what Rockets decides is wether they stay in Houston for X amout of money team Y offered, or will he go to team Y that offered X amount of money
It really depends on how a bunch of general managers react when they realize they're not going to get the guy they wanted.
c'mon, the wording is not a big deal. let's put it in this way. Just guess how much scola and kyle will get paid.
Scola will easily make 8+ Million a year.. As for Kyle Lowry that is a hard call.. I'll have to chime in later with some more research.
I'm not him but I would guess that if and when many teams with cap space miss out on premier free agents -> they might become more willing to pay players like Scola.
4 years, 30 million for scola with a no trade clause. Just get him signed, scola represents what this team is all about, hard work. I heard some commentator say that gasol has the best foot work in the entire NBA. I believe said commentator has not seen a single rockets game. Luis is just inventing post moves on the go. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/hoy_en_la_revolucion/4630994878/" title="Get Him to the Argentine, the tale of a young MIT executive with the task of bringing the sexy argentine to Houston- by The son of krypton, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4012/4630994878_319f2ea42c_o.jpg" width="413" height="610" alt="Get Him to the Argentine, the tale of a young MIT executive with the task of bringing the sexy argentine to Houston-" /></a> * i've been waiting for a scola thread to post that image ^
