    Nope

    THis Series is OVER

In fact it was over even before the 1st game. The Mavs suck plain and simple.

Only thing surprising would be if the Rockets do not blow the F out the Mavs in the enxt two games and sweep them 4-0

Yeah, now it's safe to say it's over. We have to take care of business because you have to respect any opponent. But 3-0 lead should be insurmountable.

This series is over for all intents and purposes. But I hope the Rockets go for the kill on Sunday. Don't give the Mavs any glimmer of hope. You never know what could happen in Game 5.

Logically, statistically (probability) it is over, but I still don't feel comfortable. Hope the Rockets end it in game four.

Even the Jordan Bulls teams sometimes tended to lose the game 4 after being up 3-0.

The Rockets know that the only way they can realistically lose to this Mavs team is if they don't give full effort and they make stupid mistakes. And this is after doing just that for one half in game 3 and still not losing.

Thus, if they happen to lose game 4... it will likely be due to an embarrassing effort, and that will lead to a re-focusing in game 5. If they win game 4, there's a high chance they come out flat in game 1 of the NEXT series, no matter who they play. That's an issue that even plagued the 94 and 95 championship Rockets teams.

You should feel comfortable. Losing this kind of lead has never happened to any time by a long shot. If you're comfortable walking outside and risking getting struck by lightning then you should feel comfortable about the end of the series

Better to finish it next game and avoid any chance of a freak injury.

This series is over. Jason Terry will end it with a game winning 3, in front of the Dallas crowd.

Of course... by that logic, better to never lose another game again!

But, things happen... and if they do happen to come out flat/not play well, and ultimately lose, its not going to be the end of the world.

This isn't baseball where you have to possibly burn a starting pitcher to try and close out a series, when you maybe could have saved him for the next round.

Also, these Rockets have rarely failed to rebound after a "bad" game... but they are still prone to it. If they lose game 4, they're coming out firing in game 5 and likely game 1 of the next round. If they win game 4, they may be flat in game 1 of the next round.

By the looks of it, we'll have a week off before the next game, so I doubt there will be anything left from Monday.

Last night could be the backbreaker game for the Mavs and if we sweep I will happily say I'm wrong and those of you calling for a sweep were right!
