LETS NOT ALL JUMP THE BANDWAGON.... although CATO did play well last night I don't see why he's getting all this praise. Big deal if he's capable of stringing together a couple of good games a yaer and it just so happened that he had a good one the first nigt out. He still has a lot more to prove till I'll side with him but as of now i still think he lacks heart and dedication.

Most pundits (not me) are saying that the Rocket player most responsible for taking them to the next level is Cato.

The thing I am impressed with Cato last night and in the preseason is that he is not committing as many stupid fouls. Rudy is actually praising him with following the defensive game plan.

If Cato can limit his fouls, he can stay in games longer which gives the Rockets a shot blocking presense in the middle.

I must admit I came undone at the game when he took a 8' jump shot (which he made).

Based on what he has done so far this year I will wait until he turns back into a pumpkin before I start talking bad about him again. Until then he has a fresh slate as far as I am concerned and last night he was a factor in a win. I will be more than happy to give credit where credit is due. Good game Cato.

It beats complaining about him all the time! And I wouldn't call it jumping on the bandwagon, I would call it giving credit where credit is due to a Rockets player that helped us get a good win when we could have easily lost it last night. He showed us heart and dedication last night, and that is all I need until the next game.

At Austin Rocketball last night, a friend of a friend was ranting and raving about Cato and how this is going to be a breakout year. I laughed and gave him the usual "hallucination," "no heart," etc. arguements. At the end of the night, I ate crow. Hopefully this will continue and Kelvin will continue to prove us all wrong.

Where the hell does the phrase "eat crow" come from anyways? I was reading some of Kiplings early short stories and I came upon a 'similar' situation.

    Indian folklore?

And, uh, let's not jump the bandwagon.
