Its been a sad bloody end to 2004.

    Giant earthquake and tsunamis.

    Tragic nightclub fire.

More violence and death in Iraq.

Lets hope 2005 is ends up better than 2004 ends.

I posted this at the end of 2004 and it looks like 2005 was even worse. :(

    Lets hope for a great 2006! :D

I guess I'll break your streak so next year when you comment in this thread you won't have 3 years of 3 posts all of which being you. :p

The internet has made world events look like the 11:30 news.

There will always be tragic deaths and carnage every year. From now on, we'll have the opportunity to know more about it.

    My 2005 sucked.

    2004 sucked, too.

I haven't had a good year in a long time. I grow more miserable and unhappy with each passing month.

This bbs is about the only thing that keeps me sane. Scary, eh?

the first half of 2005 was great. from january to june, it was awesome. one of the bet.

from july to december, man, it's just terrible. it outweighs the first half.

i look at the early part of the year, and i smile,

i look at the second part starting with July 5th and on, i think it was the lowest i could go.

I am going to bounce back in 2006.
    It has to by time.

Try build a solar house in '06. It'll definitely make you happy.

I hear ya. I recently met a co-worker who spent 5 years at a Vietnamese prison right after the Vietnam war. What have I really done in the last five years?

Change the world with your ideas...or make some money out of it.

Then when you have enough of said cash, vanish completely.

A new plan, a new year.

    Best wishes, everyone.

    It's now 2006.

    Let the misery begin.

    (...or is it just continuing?)

Fresh outta college, but I get your point.... =/

Might I suggest buying a box of random shiny things and giving the misses one each time she's angry? :D

One for each time she's angry? I don't have any place to store 3 million shiny things.

    Here's a life lesson:

A man can have drive... Talent... Potential. Ambition. Passion. Power. Strength. Dreams. Excitement...

... and having a wife and kid(s) squelches all of that.

I think I just heard the applause of law firms and condom companies everywhere.

    That's raw, Drox.

You still have the net. Like I tell my friends, if all else fails, I can still resort to the net p*rn industry and some big money off it.

    Or something like that.

Sorry - you're catching me in a bad mood. I probably shouldn't be posting considering my frame of mind.

Well if I could predict disasters I would be a lot richer man. Maybe a lot less sane though.
