Oh god I can't believe I have said this but... I really hope they could miraculous kicked the Lakers out in the 1st round. If they do, then we have a shot. The current rockets squad is the most solid they could have in recent years. If we can somehow solved the fronting-Yao problem, we could beat anyone, yes anyone, anyone except the Lakers. Damn the Lakers are too big for us to conquer. It's not even a match up thing. They outplayed us in every positon with their athletic bigs, with their invulnerable defense, with the best SG in the league and with their outstanding headcoach. They swept us in the regular season and they could do it again in the post season. Our chance equals zero. :(

Cheer for the Jazz today...and please don't ban me for this...

Ehhh, another j*zz/Rox matchup? :(

I'll take my chances with the Fakers. I don't want to see us have another exit by the freaking j*zz.

I'd rather see Lakers whoop that Jazz azz... That would be a beautiful to see.

I will enjoy every moment of them getting bounced in the first round!

Actually, I am hoping that we beat Portland in the 1st round. Then we encounter Utah in the second round. Of course, we beat them in retaliation. Then we can meet Dallas in the Western Conference finals. Of course, we will put the Mavepricks to sleep for good. In the NBA Finals, I hope we can get LeBron's Cavs or Howard's Magic. The refs stole the @Cavs game from us this season. So pay back time for sure! If not, we can always sweep Orlando...who said history does not repeat itself?

Wouldn't it be sweet? (Don't ever underestimate the heart of Clutch City!)

If, somehow, the JAzz are good enough to beat the Lakers without HCA, I'm not sure I'd want to face them. We already don't matchup well against them, and if they're on top of their game that makes things even worse.

if RA solves the fronting this series bring on the Jazz. Also if Ron and Battier continue playing like they are and Ron plays his role Rockets can beat the Lakers, afterall it'll be Bynum vs Yao, not Pau vs Yao.

I will almost guarantee everything that I own that the REFS will NOT allow the Jazz to win..

watch and note the timely foul calls at pivotal points in games.

Jazz do not front Yao. Okur plays him straight up.

You might be scared of them and think the Rockets don't matchup with them but, thankfully, the players aren't scared of them and they know that they matchup up extremely well with the Jazz. Hopefully the Rockets and Jazz meet up in the 2nd round.

Again, I don't know why you guys are so scared of the Jazz. The Rockets aren't scared of them and I expect the Rockets to destroy them if they meet up in the 2nd round.

Because they exploit the rockets weaknesses. Dwill will kill brooks, and okur will go to the outside and shoot threes. If we put yao on boozer than boozer will get easy shots on pnr.

If we can shut down kobe we can beat the laers.

    I second that.

I feel like Utah will put up a better fight than everyone is predicting.

Our best hopes are for the lakers and jazz to beat the hell out of each other in a grueling 7 game series, with the team emerging victorious coming out worse for wear. And for us to finish the blazers early.

Be that as it may, Lakers will take care of the Jazz.

Any worse than how we don't match up well with LA? I hear what what you're saying but at least we're familiar with Utah and know what it takes to beat them.

Its true. Too bad the NBA official won't allow any team to beat LA before they walk into the final.

Would it be wrong to hope for a significant injury to one of the Lakers' players?
