So until the Texans officilly start playing in Houston, I am rooting for my adopted home team the NJ Giants. Yes I say NJ because thats where they've been playing for the past 26 years and they are like 15 minutes away from my house. I can't see any team with Trent Dilfer as QB winning the Super Bowl. I'm taking the under and my final score is 21-6. Anyone else? ------------------
While youre right about Trent Dilfer, the same can be said about Kerry Collins. Obviously will come down to defense, and I rank both equally except for Lewis, who is amazing. I give it to the Ravens 20-14. ------------------
You guys are way too generous with the offenses....I say 13-3 Giants. ------------------ Behad Sergeant at Arms of the Clutch BBS Asking the question: What is more dangerous, an AK-47 or a scooter?
I've said it for two weeks, and I'll say it again. Both defenses are great, and it will be an excellent low scoring football game. But in a game where points are SO hard to come by and defenses are so good, IMO it comes down to which offense can make the big play. And even against the Ravens D, I like the Giants big play potential with Collins, Barber, Hilliard, Toomer, etc. over that of Trent Dilfer and the Ravens. Giants take this on one big play by Kerry Collins, the MVP of the game. Giants 13 Ravens 6 ------------------ "We're not settling for just getting in the playoffs." "We want a higher seed. Anyone else really want to see this game go into overtime? ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams fan club. Web site coming soon atheistalliance.org
I want the Giants to win but I have a feeling that this is the Ravens year. Ray Lewis will be named MVP. Can't wait till Survivor 2!!! ------------------
NO WAY RAVENS ALL THE WAY. ------------------ "Kenny, The Basketball scientist, Whoo Hoo." Charley B, on TNT
I wasn't that far off about the score. instead of 24-17, let me just add 10 of those points to the ravens and it becomes 34-7. ------------------
After watching the conference championship games, I thought the Giants would win after the way I saw Collins and the offense perform. In reality, it was actually how bad the Minnesota defense really was. I thought the Giants would win the game because I thought Collins would be smart enough not to make mistakes and that he could make a couple of big plays from time to time. Instead, he gave it away 4 times, almost gave it away several others, and made no big plays. The worst performance that I've ever seen in a Super Bowl by a quarterback. I really did believe Baltimore's D was that good. I just thought the Giants were smart enough not to make big time mistakes and that they would pull it out at the end. Boy was I wrong. ------------------ "We're not settling for just getting in the playoffs." "We want a higher seed. There's no doubt. No way Giants can score that much on Ravens. I see Ravens winning the game 17 - 6 ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club.
