He is on the market. We can get him without giving our 2 horses, we can have a dynamic 3.

    Successful Scenario
Due to Houston and Boston being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Houston and Boston had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The suggestion was offered last spring, and generally flamed. The man is a stud -- who has no head and NEEDS to be 2nd or 3rd option.

The suggestion would have to land on the noggin of the clueless brat (DA). Is there a single more directionless basketball team than the one under Ainge's 'direction'? If Red were still alive (sic) this could never happen!

BTW - is there a better player in the NBA with less value than PP? A lame-backed TMac is worth exponentially more than a healthy 'Truth'.

I am not sure if I would want Raef's contract.

A better deal would be Pierce+ Al Harrington for Moochie/Wesley/Juwan
We can add a Lottery Protected first round pick for 2007or 2008. I dont think Boston will bite!

We still would not have the Power Forward- but we have an all star Guard/Forward, the third option!

Hey, Jessica Simpson is on the market. I should call her up for a hook-up. It's gotta be that easy, right?

Harrington? Do you mean Jefferson? The untradable developing (a bit slowly, yes, but developing) stud?

Pierce wont accept the role as the team's 3rd option.

And Raef LaFrentz has 44m contract over the next 4 seasons.

No, too much money on one player. We've got our 2 max players. We need to add a perimeter player at MLE or somewhere around $6-$8 mill per, that will nail the jumper and play D and be a quality starter at the 2. Pierce ain't worth what he's get paid on our team as a 3rd option. He needs to go somewhere where he's #1 or #2.

I think if Rafer stays healthy, we are set at the PG position. We need an upgrade at the 2 guard, and then split the backcourt minutes primarily between that upgrade and Rafer and Luther. Then we either need to get Swift much improved or move him for a quality 4.

    Oh. In tha† case:

Hey, Jessica Simpson is on the market. I should call her up for a hook-up. It's gotta be that easy, right?

ps: In all seriousness, Pierce is in the prime of his career and having a banner year. Why would he want to come to Houston and willingly play third fiddle? Doesn't make sense :/ .

    Napalm, you're such a biter. ;)

Unless you're talking about going after him with a baseball bat and an unmarked car, then no, let's not.
