I hate to start this thread. We all love you our Tmac. You are our super super star. but I wish you can shot everyday like you did in the wizard game. You should shoot over 40% at least tonight. I have to say you need some consistency now. Our team need you, we fans like to watch your play great. How many layup you missed or blocked tonight? You can do it man. You are so talented. You really need to do something. Maybe like you did before the wizard game? go rockets sad day. win in sa pls BELIVE
you know what..that would be awesome if he goes crazy tomorrow. I would love to see that. We all would
I have repeatedly stated this in other threads, but again I must say that T-Mac DOES NOT look normal, he looks injured, but it seems that he wants to "play tough" and not complain. Just look at his speed, his increasing inclination to shoot from outside, his worsened elevation, and his whinces almost every time after he lands back from a slam dunk or something. I am not sure if it is his back or not, but it sure does worry me in the short-term plans of the Rockets in this post-All Star period. T-Mac is not well guys, there is no way he is, he does not normally struggle on his shot like he has lately for the past few games.
I agree with Tiger Mission, on that breakaway tonight, he definetly looked like he was holding back. But as far as penetration, the zone has a lot to do with his trouble doing that tonight.
T-Mac's health is always a cause for concern. We need a backup SG/SF for him but we don't have the resources to get anyone.
MoT for DA would help us out in that department, hopefully it still goes down. If no other deal goes down for Portland, they might as well do it.
i think its a combo of old injuries showing up. he normally woulda pulled something really crowd pleasing on that fast break
Has Tmac and Sura been bumpin' and grindin'?? I mean, I've seen the looks they give each other on the court...those butt slaps... Those recurring injuries? and at the same time too? back pain!? coincidence? I think not...
TMac is injured and is trying to play through it, he does not have the explosiveness he had in Dec. He is hurt, my opinion
I agree. Something isnt quite right with Tmac. He isnt as explosive and his shot has been suspect as of late. With Sura out, now more than ever we need that 25/6/6 Tmac to give us that production or more EVERY night. We have no room for error.
I agree... But that is the problem guys, our latest winning streak has camouflaged our shortcomings/weaknesses as a team. First, our depth (which is none) has been exposed last night. When your backup plans at the point is ROD FREAKIN' STRICKLAND, then Houston, we have a SERIOUS problem. Now that is compounded by the fact that at SF, we have no one to back up T-Mac is he goes down for a few games. We only have a bunch of guards to play, that is the only deep position we have on the team. Then, you got the fact that this is an old ass team, and they are more volunerable to injuries than other team in the league. This is the thing that scares me the most, because our older players will be breaking down towards the end of the season from fatigue/injuries etc. Now for the bright spot, it is Yao's newfound aggressiveness and fearlessness. I loved what I saw last night. And barring the god-damn fouls he picks up EVERY game, this guy would stay on the court for 35-36 minutes and harshly punish every interior defense in the league. He looked on fire last night emotionally and physically, and with an injured T-Mac and an injured Sura, it is YAO TIME!
Over the last 10 games or so he's averaged around 8 assists and 2 TOs per game. That's 4/1 asst/TO ratio for the mathematically challenged. Not shabby. His shooting percentage has fallen...but he's giving the ball up, still scoring well and the Rockets are winning. No worries, mate.
