Chances are that Gay will be the workout wonder. I'm hoping for a center-deprived team like Toronto or Boston going after a mega-reach in Patrick O'Bryant.
Imagine the long hot summer if the Rockets drafted Rudy Gay and then Matt Haryasz, 6-11 PF-C from Stanford with their second round pick.

About his stock, right now he is within range of possibly falling to us, but yea, the workouts will boost his stock. Hopefully a lot of lottery picks excel ahead of him. If not, then we could use our 2nd round pick and first to move up. Toronto seems like they might move down if their guy is a big man or so. But Toronto isnt to eager about more rookies since they have enought already so whats a second round pick to them. Maybe we toss in a player.
Reminds me of Dwight Davis. Graduated from UH in early 70s. Could dunk like a mutha. Picked 4th overall by Atlanta (?)-- lasted a couple of years in the league. Does Gay have any more game than leaping and dunking?
I'd be willing to bet he's by far the best perimeter defender in the draft too. He can shoot, but isn't very consistent. Don't mistake him for Gerald Wallace on offense, his jumpshot is actually quite nice.
Toronto will most likely take him to solidify the 3 and reunite him with fellow Husky C.V. , which is smart, that could make the transition to Canada easier. IMO, he'll go top three. He's got the best upside of any player in the draft.
