i know its no secret that we have pretty bad fans that attend the game and most "real" fans our yelling at the tv at home

so what can we do about it?

my only suggestion is for next season to have alot more promotional nights not just by giving away a duck, but seat price reductions and have the ends of the arena near the goals reserved for "cheap seats" something that makes fans who want to cheer on the team be able to afford to go and help

according to the players they notice and feel the emptiness and would our support,,,true they are not thrilling to watch but we are still winning,,,even if it 40 to 41 with 4 minuted left to go in the fourth we can still encourage our team to win

i go to plenty of games, and would yell alot more if i didnt feel so uncomfortable with everyone around me just sitting there eating popcorn shrimp and a brownie

    just venting i guess

I think I speak for most Houston fans when I say Bite Me!

I have better things to do than drive downtown at night, so I can sit in over priced seats, while eating over priced food, while drinking over priced beer, so I can watch over priced players under perform.

    Think again.

your thoughts dont even come close to what I think.

If I had the money, I would go to every game and yell no matter who was around me. If them suits dont like it, they can Bite Me.

Advice for you..dont eat at the games if you feel they are overpriced...eat before you go.

I have never eaten at games...and the beer is no more expensive than other sporting events.

and as long as they win, I couldn't care less if the win is ugly or the struggle to do it...as long as they win.

I thinkn some of you guys aint happy unless you are b****ing about somthing.

The fans will come, eventually. We're just in a delicate part of the year right now. Give it time.

He can speak for me. I could go to a couple of Astros games for the price of a cheap seat in the Compaq Center.

Baseball does have a number of games advantage but the value does seem higher when you can watch 7-8 allstar players for $3-5 bucks a seat....

Unfortunately I think it will take attendance dropping even if the Rox win to convince the Rox to reconsider ticket prices. I think the problem is that major sports league owners don't realize it takes more than a fancy stadium to draw in crowds. The atmosphere just as important and IMO if they can part will a little ticket revenue by selling some lower bowl seats cheaper they will get a return out of more people attendance throughout and better team performance because the Toyota Center will be known as a place where fans really get behind the team.

Arkoe, sure you might be able to go to a couple of Astros games for less than ten dollars. My question is. Since when is ten dollars to much to spend? If you can't afford that.. you may need to think about getting a job. Oh, Raven.. you don't speak for me either.

It'll all come down to winning. All arenas have high priced tickets and over priced food, so you can't really use that as an excuse. However, for some places even winning doesn't help. Just look at New Jersey. They can go to the nba finals 2 years in a row, yet still can't draw flies for regular season games. Don't know much about NJ, but if the only place you can have a championship celebration is in the parking lot of your arena, then that might explain a lot.

The ticket prices are right there with every other team in the league. Hell, Dallas tickets are actually more, and you don't even get as good of a seat. You guy are people have been spoiled by the compaq center. Ask anybody from another city how much they spend to go to an NBA game.

This is wat Les should do, have a promo. saying you can book your tix online for free for service charges or anything. That would get alot of people, like me, to come to the games becuase i remember in the start of the season every1 was b****ing about all the fees they add on if you buy online, which is pretty messed up.

Well, Houston seems to have a lot of fans of being bitten, at least.
