    Let's continue what we started...

    I don't WANT to create a division between nationalities on this board. But to me, your sig is a personal attack. I'ma muslim, and to me, Arabs are the chosen people. They're language is the language of the Qura'an and God made sure the Qura'an was sent to NONE OTHER than Arabs for it to be spread.


    I am NOT Arab. This is ESSENTIAL. However, I AM offended by your sig.

    Why? Because not everyone views suicide bombings the same way. You're not a Muslim, and I am. We will most probably NEVER agree on each other's religious principles, however, we can respect each other's presence and choice of religion.

    That's why I ask you to remove it.

    Note: It's NOT the first time. I've asked before.

    I think Codell's signature is perfectly fine.
    Like Rockets2K said, some Muslims do strap explosives to their chests and blow themselves up.

    There is only one way to view a suicide bombing, a cowardly, religious fanatic murdering countless innocent people. I see nothing wrong with his signature.

    Because it sends the wrong image.

    Suicide bombers, although they may or may not be wrong, don't just simply blow themselves up. THEY believe it's for a greater cause. It's not for us to judge, but THAT's what they believe. They are not zombies, like CNN makes them out to be. They are just probably not the brightest of people, which is not a crime.


    Listen, what if I quoted DaDakota's signature on Colin Powell, and under I put down:

    "This from a man who cleans his ass with just tissue."

    It's absolutely true, and to YOU, it's not wrong to wipe your ass with tissue. However, it reflects negatively on American people and Colin Powell. It's true. Yet, offensive.


    It's about respect, that's what it is. If codell wants to keep it, that's fine. I'm just "asking", I can't do anything else. I'm not going to strap myself with dynamite and show up at his door. I'm just asking for him to respect me. That's all.

    I don't judge suicide bombers, and YOU don't judge suicide bombers. I think it's wrong. YOU think it's wrong. But it's not up to us, really. We're a tiny atom in the whole grand scheme of things, and our "theories" are worth less than half an atom off of a piece of ****.

    We're not discussing suicide bombings. We're discussing respect.

    It sounds to me like you're making excuses for these people and cloaking it in an air of "who are we to judge," which I find to be offensive to America and any innocent blown up by these fanatics.

    If anyone on this BBS had a signature that said "I like Americans. I just don't like Americans that murder people". Do you really think that would offend anyone? Would anyone ask them to remove it? Thats the point I am trying to make.

    In all honesty, I am not being defiant with you. However, I don't feel compelled to change my sig because you feel suicide bombers should not be mocked because they believe in a greater cause.

    If any of the moderators agree with you and feel my signature is offensive, then I encourage them to remove it. At this point, with all due respect, I don't feel I need to.

    Some of the participants in the 9-11 attacks knew they were on a suicide mission. Wasn't Mohamed Atta an architectural student? I haven't seen any reports saying that the 9-11 group had below average IQ levels. Weren't several of them students in Europe prior to coming to the United States?

    If you have something solid supporting the view that they weren't that <i>bright</i> (intelligence), I would like to examine it.

    I don't understand where you're coming from If you think suicide bombing is wrong, aren't you judging those who take part in it?
    If we live in a world where saying negative things about suicide bombers is offensive, then the political correctness movement has reached an all-time low.

    How about just letting his opinion continue being a tiny atom? I don't think he's claiming it to be anything more. Besides, it wasn't even really an opinion. It was just a witty remark someone made.

    EDIT: nevermind...already resolved.

    cut the crap got damnit! take this to D&D, like fatman suggested.

    this proves my argument in the feedback section just before D&D was made... there's no place on clutch bbs for debate or discussion because it leaks into other parts of the boards and people hold grudges against one another.










    "hot or not" should be the only debate and discussion on clutch bbs. :rolleyes:

    Suicide bombers are wrong wrong wrong...and yep I am judging them to be absolute morons who are blowing themselves up for no reason other then they have been sold a bunch of BS from supposed leaders who don't blow themselves up.

    No different in my mind than the idiots who followed David Koresh, or Jim Jones in the name of Christianity.

    It is simply a case of misguided people being tainted by MORONS who disguise themselves as religious leaders.


    As for Colin Powel...what if he uses a bidet?

    This is *beyond offensive*. Do not compare one isolated incident with the scores of suicide bombers in Israel and other places. I thought you were above this. I guess not.
