I have a friend that lives in the milwaukee area and he said that local sports shows there were suggesting that Bucks management (since they traded Cassell and The Payton talks have fell apart) are in dire straits at both guard positions and they are definately lookin for trade oppurtunities for veterans.
He also said they would not put the workload of the point guard duties on rookie TJ Ford..... so they would definately seek trades for vets

He also said local radio shows had the new GM on the Radio and he said that management had to do something because there team is basically at ground zero as far as talent at the guard position( no Cassell, no Allen, no Big Dog, No Payton)and that he would be open to only add veterans only no young players..........He also said when he was asked about new Rook TJ, he was very non commitive, and felt he needed some time before they would throw the Reins in his hands.......SO...........

I don't know, but to me it seems like we can take advantage of this situation.........
You know, New GM, Gary Payton goin to Lakers, No depth at guard,.............What else do you want

So to get to my point, Maybe CD and Les should get The Bucks on Speed Dial and Get TJ Home while they are vunerable, bein that they are desperate, and they basically have lost their Big Three, we could possibly Pawn Some of Our Spare Parts and get TJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:) :) :)

They would Probably jump at a chance to get Cat, Griff, Rice Or even No Rebound Taylor

    Ahhh........Desperation.............Don't you just love It!!!!!!!! :D :D

Sounds good in theory, but unless trades are made on or before draft day, you aren't allowed to trade draft picks until sometime in December. That would be the earliest possible date we could get TJ if we and the Bucks were so inclined...

Although it probably wouldn't happen, I would love to get Desmond Mason in a Rox uniform. I love the way the guy plays and I feel like he could inject some work ethic into this team. I'd give up Cat straight up for Mason.

I wouldn't mind Desmond Mason in a Rox uniform either, but he's probably the last guy the Bucks would trade. I can't believe what's going on with that team. They went from one of the most talented teams in the East to potential cellar dwellars in a year.

    TJ's a scoring PG?

Sanity, don't you love it in a thread? And this one is about to be injected with some.

TJ Ford is the cornerstone of Milwaukee's rebuilding project. They aren't looking to win now, or even next year - they are looking to win down the road. There are plenty of experienced point guards available on the open market who can backup Ford and tutor him as a point guard in the NBA.

They aren't trading him. Plus, they can't for at least three months since he signed his rookie contract last week.

    In other words: not happening.

We're talkin about a team that
    1) Traded Sam Cassell
    2) Traded Glenn Robinson
    3) Traded Ray Allen
    4) Screwed up talks with The GLOVE

I'd say we could get Desmond Mason for a YAO MING throwback, and a new pair of Stevie Franchise Reeboks:D :p :D :p

I don't mind having Desmond Mason, but swaping Cat is not a good hipe. I would still keep Cat.

    TRUE
Desmond is good, but I'd rather have Cat

Now if you trade someone else for D Mason, I'm completely with it

If we were to do anything with the Bucks, and I agree that it wouldn't involve Ford, then make them take Mooch.

(rubs hands with glee at the thought)

Let's just take ALL of the Bucks backcourt away from them while we're at it! We can give them Glen Rice and Moochie and maybe even MoT to match contracts!

Going into this thread, that's what I thought the conclusion would be-- try to unloach the Mooch.

Uhhh..no thanks...unless we are talking about a straight up trade of Moochie for TJ and money. I would pull the trigger on this trade, ridiculous as it sounds.

They all had fat contracts and were coming towards another contract year at a time when the owner was reportedly selling the team.
