The reality about this board is that it is a fantasy diversion. We all become experts, we manage the team, we trade players, design plays, change coaches. The Rockets organization rushes to read our suggestions on a hourly basis (we know this is fantasy, because they almost never take our advice). What is the point? It is a good time to "drop back and punt." Play another game for awhile. Get a hobby. Take a walk. Talk to your family and friends, about something else. The millionaires are in a pickle. Most of us think we know why, but that is largely irrelevant at this point. Let them deal with it. They created the mess, it is their responsibility to fix it, not ours. We are supposed to be having fun. There is no bandwagon to jump on or off of. I love the Rockets, this is not about being a faithful fan, this about "the game" we are playing. For our own mental health, we need to really let go (if not briefly), admit this is a fantasy, we can't fix anything. Let the millionaires do it. We can jump back in anytime. Right now thinking about the Rockets is so negative that it is not healthy. Some will not understand, but you do.
I hear you loud a clear. I think I need to take a break from the board till we get a win. All this negativity is a downer.
solid I agree with you but I'll keep following the team just like i always have. What I won't do is waste my time hatching up 8 million trade proposals that have zero chance of happening
