If Silas is angry enough at Snow to send him into the sun, then why not bring him in here. Cavs want to dump Diop and Wags, so give them Ward + Lue + Boki + TE and let's both do some reloading of IL/end of the benchers -- plus a 1 to work with BS and AB.
what gives you that idea? and please don't say playing time. I don't want any part of Snow. I don't like his contract nor what he would bring on the floor.
he has 4 years left on his contract. he can't shoot. sure anything is an upgrade, but we have to hold off till the right one comes along. unless they take JH straight up.
Silas tossed Snow from the bench and into the lockerroom for cussing him during Pistons game. Snow is not a better player than the combined talents of Charlie Lue? Tyrone Ward??
He's better than those guys, but he's got nothing over Sura/Barrett. PF is by far the biggest weakness that we have. Taking on Snow contract isn't going to do anything to help that.
thx for the info. Hadn't heard that. I really don't think Snow is a good fit here, and if we are taking on bad contracts, I would prefer it to be for better players than Snow.
Anyone who cannot make a jumpshot in the half-court offense is a liability. Snow can't make a jumpshot.
He's due $7.3 million. In 2008-09. If he's not worth his $4.5 million now, why in the world would you bring him in to be a minor upgrade over Ward? Why? Evan
General trend here....which has intensified with the sub .500 start. The logic goes something like ... If he plays for Houston and he's not named Yao or McGrady...he stinks. If he plays for any other team and he isn't starting....he's a real find. Threads of this nature surface almost daily. You could almost use a generic thread and insert the name of any player recently in a coach's doghouse or having a game above their seasons' averages. Odd thing is that the Rox management gets crucified for their contracts yet everyone here seems to want us to obtain every player that is remotely available regardless of age or cost.
Why would we want to trade low talent players with a year or 2 left on their contract for someone slightly better with a longer and more obscene contract? And the slightly better could be well argued since he has the worst outside shot of any NBA pg/sg that I know of.
pros: plays hard, good d cons: suspect jumpshot. not much of an offensive threat, seems to have lost a step i don't seem him as an upgrade from our current PGs. Sura is quicker, better at penetration, a better passer, better defender and better rebounder. Lue is quicker and a better shooter.
