The skill positions aren’t the best but let’s be honest Mills has been inaccurate even when not under duress and especially towards the sidelines.

Everyone she named is dependent on the damn QB.

    Tired of the excuses.

    Dude sucks.

He’s not a starter in the NFL.

    He’s Sage Rosenfels at best.

Some folks just gotta come to grips with this.

I agree completely. Mills needs to be better. Maybe we would have won all 3 games with someone else. Maybe we would have won all 3 games with better wide receivers, running backs, and tight ends. The games were all close. Not a single player is one of the best. My point is that how many good quarterbacks have such a mediocre core of wide receivers, tight ends, and backup running backs? I'd say it's quite the understatement saying our skills positions aren't the best.

We can also be honest in saying that as bad as Mills has missed, he's also been right on the money when hitting receivers covered like a jacket. There are a LOT of quarterbacks so far this year with a worse TD to interception ratio. A lot! There are also a lot of quarterbacks who have receivers who seem to be able to get wide open a lot easier than ours.

All that being said, I see it as a good sign that we've actually come so close to winning all three games. We have more top round picks to come, but I want more proven veterans as well. If Mills stays awful, I hope one of our backups ends up playing really good, so we can use our money to trade for a top tier veteran WR and TE.

The Texans have been in two 3rd and 1 situations to potentially win a game. They went to Burkhead both times.

I'll never forget how Kubes made Matt Schaub an nfl qb. Pep needs to get his **** together, I been hearing all about this wonderful Pep offense for almost a year and have yet to be impressed with any performance from this team aside from the chargers game last season, this offense is very pedestrian. Pep is obviously being groomed to be the next head coach but if this team continues to play like this, we as fans are going to be in for a lot of misery for the foreseeable future. I'm a little annoyed, I watched the first two series of that game on Sunday and switched over to kc vs indy because the team looked like ****, when the game was tied in the fourth I switched over just in time to see Mills throw that interception. This team needs to learn how to grind out wins, close games and win ugly sometimes. I'm going to try and be patient for a couple more weeks and if this team still sucks and looks like **** on the field I'm going to become the most insufferable malcontent of a fan on here

So you're admitting that Lovie's hiring was a facade.

Lovie is getting paid to serve a purpose. The same purpose Culley was supposed to serve. The guy that helps out in the rebuilding yrs. Lovie's not a championship level HC in today's NFL and I like Lovie, he's doing a good job at what he was hired to do.

The Texans don't care anything about a winning culture and everything about lying. People, don't waste a moment of your Sundays watching garbage be garbage.

We don’t want Jalen(hypothetical Deshaun trades)
We don’t want Tua(hypothetical Deshaun trades)
Probably same people who **** on Deshaun(strictly on-field) and Lamar
Would rather have shitty Davis Mills making pennies over an “overpaid” QB like Dak or Kyler
We don’t need to draft a QB
Mills might be the 1st/2nd best QB from his class
Mills would’ve been a 1st round pick (in some other different random year, just not the year he was actually drafted)
Texans found and have their franchise QB.
You can’t judge him until he has a stud RB, top WR, good TE, solid OL, decent defense
He’s a 3rd round pick; not much is expected, give him a break.; (also them) He’s the guy.

    —Davis Mills fan club

    Just about covers it?
