The linked article just barely mentions this collaboration but that small snippet got me very excited! Its actually an article about Les Claypool and his various undertakings lately and how he is fitting into the 'jamband' community...

Bass - Les Claypool (Primus, Frog Brigade, Oysterhead)
Guitar - Adrian Belew (King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Talking Heads, David Bowie)
    Drums - Danny Carey (Tool)

My favorite rock drummer and one of my favorite bass players together! I don't know much about Belew specifically but I like all the projects he's been a part of. This sounds great! I was pretty frickin' excited when I heard about Oysterhead (Claypool, Trey Anastasio - Phish, Stuart Copeland - Police) and they were cool, but I didn't feel their styles really meshed well.. This newer supergroup seems like it will be a more natural fit. I can't wait!

Hmmm. Interesting. As much as I like Les and Stewart Copeland, I didn't really get into Oysterhead either. Not sure why, I just didn't.

I don't know much about Belew but my guitar friends are always raving about him and King Crimson so he must be good. Besides, anyone who played with Zappa HAS to be a master.

As a HUGE Les/Primus fan, I can't wait to hear how this colabration turns out.
