Boy that's quick. Early indication by ESPN, I might add.

JVG just helped get rid of two Knicks coachs - talking about revenge.

Rockets win is the last straw for Wilkins

ESPN is reporting that, after their last second loss to the Rockets, the Knicks' coach Lenny Wilkins has had enough and will resign. The Knicks have lost five straight and nine of ten.

Heard that as well. Wilkins is a legend in basketball and it is sad when it comes to something like this for a person as classy and legendary as he is.

man, i can't believe the wilkens thing didn't work out. he seemed like such as awesome coach in toronto and seemed like the bright, enthusiastic type of guy needed to turn NY around. yeah right.

I dont understand whats so great about Wilkins? I think he SUCKS. Has not done jack the last decade or so.

And whats up NY? They are like the Clippers of East and that is seriously saying something. They constantly go for average to above average players - Marbury, now Jalen Rose, etc. etc.

Isiah Thomas has to worse then Elgin Baylor.

Lenny Wilkens didn't trade for and draft all those sorry players - Isiah Thomas did. Isiah Thomas should fire himself first.

Even if they did want him, we wouldn't be stupid enough to give away our future hall of fame coach to them.

JVG is here to win championships with Mac and Yao.

    :p

Everyone in the world knew the Knicks couldn't win with that group of players. Thomas just wanted to make a dramatic entry for himself to be back the coach rank again. Too bad, Wilkens chose to be the post boy, so he got no one to blame but himself.
