Most likely the Rockets will not have a 1st round pick next year. How about signing Lenny Cooke. If he had went to college for a year, he would have been a 1st round pick next year. I think we could get him by at least telling him he would have a spot all year on IR if nothing else. He's 6'6 205 sg/sf. He's a big time athlete who plays hard all the time. Also, appears he's a good kid but but made some wrong decisions in the class room. Offense is shaky at this point in his career but most likely could contribute this year on defense. Would be a much better investment for year long IR than Dan or Jason. Tell me what you think?
I think there's an obscure rule in the NBA collective barganing agreement that prohibits guys named "Lenny" from playing in the league...
DeAngelo wasn't even great at the HS level...He's just 6'10 and made a mistake. I think someone should take a chance on Lenny though...
You guys think everybody and their mother can get on this team? I wish those guys all the best but there is a reason why the NBA created the D league. We cannot even hold on to Langhi and Torres and you guys want us to go and get another set of guys who at this point have no clue. If you do not already know, the roster is already overloaded.
