Lee Nailon was released by Atlanta Monday.

Lee is a 6'9" small forward who can score some from the bench.

Does anyone think he could help the Rockets?

He plays no defense. On a JVG team....that is a must. No chance!

He could help us a lot, and I think JVG could get him to play decent defense.

Excuse my lack of research here, but when Lee played for New York, did he play for Van Gundy?

If not, maybe Jeff could teach him to play more defense. Lee sure had some good scoring games in New York.

We could sure use his athletic style play and his size at small forward.

Yeah, picking up a scrub that was just released from the worst team in the NBA is really going to make a difference...

After doing some research, Lee did not play for Van Gundy.

Jeff could sure help his game by teaching him to play better defense.

Lee started for New Orleans at small forward for 43 games when Mashburn was hurt. During that 43 game as started he averaged 15 points per game and 5 rebounds per game. He scored in double figures 34 of his 43 games as starter and scored 27 points on 2 occasions.

He started some at power forward for New York.

He would be a nice roll player from the bench, supplying more versitiliy. If he could learn to play "D", he would help when we face the big small forwards.

I think he could help us.
