Just what one reporter heard, but I find the following somewhat believable, and if true, hilarious.

    http://twitter.com/Ian_OConnor

    James: Damn it, Dwyane.

    Wade: What?

Jame: I told you not to invite him.

    Wade: Huh?

James: I told you not to invite Chris' ugly dinosaur-looking ass to our summit.

Wade: Oh... yeah... sorry about that, I just thought we were friends and have the same agency and all.

James: Fool, you know from the clubs how he's gets all clingy and all. Drives off all the 10s and attract a bunch of 7s who all of a sudden think they have a chance at us just cuz Chris is around and he looks like he should have low standards despite making millions.

Wade: Look, I said I was sorry. Chris didn't want to get stuck summitting with Amare..

    James: ****ing nerd.

Wade: Yeah, you know these power forwards. so many of them to go aorund. Amare, Chris, Carlos, Lee. We can win with any of them. But Henry wanted me to help Chris out since he's trying to get paid and gets all lonely if we don't hang with him.

James: **** him. Let him go to Houston with that fat nerd GM.

Wade: Don't say anything, Lebron. Let me find a way to let him down easy.

On a more serious note... the less Wade and James feel they need Bosh (instead of, say, an another quality PF like Amare, Boozer, Lee, etc.) the better things are for the Rockets chances.

Yeah, I know, total soap opera, but that's NBA free agency. Might as well enjoy it.

If true, then Lebron/Wade have some really stupid people around them. Or they just don't want to win. Bosh may not be on their level as a player, but he complements either of them better than any other FA on the market BY FAR.

Great news for us, more incentive for him to join the Rockets and show his worth when we win a ring!

Bosh really has become a douche, letting this all go to his head.

Until this summer, no one was uttering his name with theirs in the same sentence...but now he thinks he's on their level as a superstar. No offense Chris, but tally up your All-NBA appearances. You're a second banana. A top flight one, but a second banana.

It's like Tori Spelling on 90210.

I actually think Carlos Boozer would be ALMOST as good a complement to Lebron or (even moreso) Wade if they (being Boozer and either Lebron or Wade) ended up in Chicago.

In some respects, actually, Boozer woudl be a better complement. Just a little better low post game. On a team with an offensive zero at the 5 in Noah, the Bulls could use a low post scorer.

Bosh would be better off going to a team that already has a dominant low post scorer.

If only there were such a team on his short list. ;)

Bosh is a solid player. I'm sure you'll change your tune. He's just playing everything up like Shaq. Only difference is, Shaq was a media magnet. If Bosh becomes a champion, he'll get all the media attention he can handle.

Bron may feel that way but Wade and Bosh have been out eating a few times. If Wade also feels that way then he's putting on a front.

I believe the main thing about Bosh vs. the other guys is that Bosh's need for the 6th year make the equation

Bosh vs. Boozer/Lee/Amare + what one has to give up in a S&T.

If, for example, Toronto insist on having Noah from Chicago in a S&T, Chicago may very well decide Boozer + Noah is better than Bosh, as long as going the Boozer+Noah route won't preclude Lebron or Wade from joining.

So, as long as Lebron and Wade don't insist on Bosh as oppose to another top PF, Bosh may well be left out in the cold.

Wade/Bosh to Chi ignores major issue: doing 2 S&Ts. Someone would have to take Deng's deal. No one will. Tor wants picks/trade exception.

I think Bosh will announce signing with the Bulls next. Then Wade signs with Bulls. Then Lebron signs with Knicks.

On offense, I agree. But just as the Rockets actually missed Yao on defense more so offense, I'd say the same with Bosh vs Amare/Boozer. I know he's not seen as a defensive big, but it's hard to make that judgment given that he's played in Toronto, where they don't play defense. Boozer is a given defensive liability. But Bosh can be a force defensively given the right coaching and scheme.

Funny you should bring up Chicago, because I think Thibideau would be the 2nd most perfect coach for Bosh(I'll leave it to your imagination as to the 1st one :) ). And that he can use Bosh/Noah to turn Chicago into one of the top defensive teams.

I agree for Bosh's sake that he should not be piggybacking Lebron/Wade. I was only speaking from Lebron/Wade's standpoint. That even if they dislike Bosh being talked about on their level, they still stand a better chance to win with him than someone else.

    Indeed. Hopefully there is one.

No way does Chicago sign Bosh before they do Lebron or Wade.

For those saying Chi can S&T for 1 and sign other outright: forget it. Neither Bosh nor Wade is taking less than 6 yr, $120m. Nor wd you.

Bosh is not that good. Hope Rockets can dodge the bullet.

Any chance that Morey's pitch to Bosh included how delicious the extra dollars would taste five years down the road?
