If Lebron is going to play point this up coming year for the Cavs; I can't help but wonder what's going to happen to "Mighty Mouse's" ego after he is pimped all day by an 18 year old man-child. To me, I see this game as one of the games where francis's self-centered ego leads to him trying to fill shoes that that are just TOO DAMN BIG!! This ultimately results in a game where steve thinks he is a superstar (ala MJ or Kobe), and makes the game a "one on one" contest. We already lost to the Cavs once last year without Lebron and it crushed the Rox. If Lebron and the Cavs do it to the Rockets again, will Steve's foolery and "circus act" play finally come to an end? Will Lebron's superstardom overshadow francis's ego and put him in check?

Probably Not!! But what do you think?

What are you talking about? Is there some big upcoming game I don't know about?

And since when was LeBron better than Steve Francis? His numbers in the SUMMER LEAGUE aren't even that great, and his defense is even worse than Steve's. Besides, we'll probably have Posey guarding him anyway.

And Damon Stoudamire is mighty mouse! He has a mighty mouse tatoo on his arm.

First and foremost I believe I said in the upcoming season. And second of all "his #'s aren't even that great". The kid is 18 and has been playing against pimple faced punks. But I guess 20, 9 and 5 aren't that great.

Also I was not literally refering to the nickname Mighty Mouse. I was refering to the fact that he is a CHUMP trying to act like a superstar. And I think his circus act play backs that up!

Where is the proof of this "huge ego" you speak of?

The fact the guy told fiegen before the break last year he's not all about his numbers and that he's all about the team. And the next game he tips a half court shot as the half expires and goes directly to the scorers table to make sure they saw and recorded the block. The fact that he has franchise on his headrests of his car. If you want more let me know. I can go on and on.

Not really, last year Amare did pretty well Vs KG. KG is twice the player francis is, and Amare had 30 something against the T-wolves. Steve will have better #'s for the season but H2H anything can happen

egn, you have to be one of the STUPIDEST people in the basketball world, or you have absolutely NO basketball knowledge whatsoever. you actually think lebron can hang with, not to mention overplay, steve? Lebron james got taken to school by freaking jr bremeer, a role player at best. lebron james had 5 turnovers in a freaking Summer LEague game. As if that is not enough, players like bostjan nachbar, who are not even good enough to grace the floor in the nba, score 32 points in the summer league. So, according to your theory, in which scoring big in the summer league is the equivalency for greatness, Bostjan NACHBAR is BETTER than lebron JAMES. Even Jiri welsh, mike dunleavy junior, ticksolvitski, dan langhi, and eddie griffen, just to mention a few, scored MORE POINTS than your beloved lebron james in a summer league game. Forget allstars, are any of them even respectable players? For you to even consider that a player is comparable to an established all star just because of his productoin in a summer league game and in high school is proposterous. and for yout o say that steve francis is a chump is r****ded. he was voted to start the allstar game by "gasp" fans twice in a row! therefore if he indeed does have a big head, like you claim he does, everyone else in the nba thinks so too, or at least they think he is the best point guard in the western conference. Your such a fool, i dont know why i even bother responding to your trashy logic...

Hey, I saw Jeff McInnis score 51 points in a summer league game last summer. According to your criteria, egn, the Hall of Fame should start preparing some space for Jeff.

Sorry but all that dream talk is going down the drain! Steve wont be in charge any more, JVG will, Francis will play his position of Point Guard and leader of the Team, the way JVG dictates it. This will satisfy all the pro and con Steve Francis fans and next offseason we can all be that much more silent!

Amare had his points mostly against Joe Smith, and the game was over before the second quarter.

Garnett guarded Shawn Marion - who was absolutely stifled.

Please, continue, I love that you have such good seats that you can hear what Francis says to the score keepers, you must be loaded. Have you got similar seats in the new arena? Damn, I had no idea that NBA players would go so far as to get their nickname plastered on stuff they own. Especially nicknames that were given to them and not ones they came up with.

I saw lebron's ultimate highlight reel he can do everything..assists like JKidd!!!, threes!!!, dunks+alley-oops+drives+determination+highlight reels like Tmac but better accuracy in shooting from anywhere and driving to the hoop!!, fighting for boards!!..but then again it might be because he was playing against high school chumps who don't defend and are shorty's; but can't deny his skill and court vision though..but prolly take time for him to get used to the nba like Kobe. But Lebron=2 Francis's combined. 1lebron=1 yao:cool:

You probably don't want to use the fact that someone was whooped by Bremer to show that they are worse than Steve. Steve has been lit up by just about every PG in the NBA.

If Francis is smart, he wont play that game.

As far as "who is better...."

If Lebron keeps putting in the work that he does, he'll be the best player in the league. He's already shown me that he has the tools; NBA body, smooth moves, passes, as well as shoots and dunks. The guy knows his weaknesses and works on them. I mean, come on. If you can't see this, I don't know what to tell you. He's not all hype. He works hard. Plus, he acts like himself. Not like a Jordan-copy. Plus, his game isn't really like Jordan's. It's like a mix between Magic and McGrady.

Nevertheless, Isiah wasn't better than Jordan in terms of natural ability. But he was able to play it smart and beat Jordan's team 3 years in a row (play-off exits for Jordan). Just like Bruce Bowen gave Kobe a hard time, Joe Dumars gave Jordan a hard time. We need someone that can give LeBron a hard time. There's no time to be scared. Someone is going to have to do it. Posey? Hey! You never know. If I told you that Bowen could make Kobe struggle in the playoffs you would have laughed. Well, it happened.

Anyways, if Francis play his cards right, he'll beat LeBron on a team scale, rather than one-on-one. Remember, the best team wins.

P.S. LeBron will be getting his teammates involved. He CAN pass, you know? That's a weapon that LeBron has a 18 that Francis only recently is developing.
