Were only five games in, and after all the talk of Durant being a better player then Lebron, I thought I would see how they are both going in the early stages.
I will let people make up there own mind, as its still pretty early, but you can get a good idea on how things will be panning out.

    Miami 4-1

    Lebron 34.4 MPG 20.7 PPG .471 FG .294 3P RPG 4.2 APG 7.2

    OKC 2-2

    Durant 40.0 MPG 26.0 PPG 0.353 FG 0.261 3P 6.3 RPG 1.8 APG

No, you can't. The fact that Durant is shooting 35% from the field should tell you that any comparisons are premature as well any long term predictions. All you can say is that both have started slow.

KD is shooting the ball like Rafer. Very bad start to the season. LeBron is definitely a better player right now and likely will be for some time.

    That's hilarious.

If Lebron is shooting 35% right now, the thread would be filled with overjoyed haters calling the Heat Wade's team and all sorts of other garbage.

Instead, we get Durant shooting terribly and suddenly it's "clearly too early to call"

The Heat are Wade's team. I hate Lebron but the reason they have turned it around is because he's deferred to Wade. He gets credit for that, but if you don't think that the Heat are Wade's team then you are delusional

Turned it around? You act like they were on a 20 game losing streak. That phrase alone pretty much discredits your entire post.

I guess you probably thought the Suns were also Amare's team even though Nash was the one doing everything. Look at that shiny high scoring number!!!!

LeBron was better than Durant before the season and he is still better than him.

Anyone who thought Durant was better than LeBron coming into the season probably just doesn't like LeBron or really loves Durant.

You're an idiot. Lebron said they turned it around too. Do you watch basketball at all? They were lost before Lebron went playmaker. He even acknowledged that. Again, you're an idiot.

Nope. Never thought that. I guess I understand you grasping at straws to jusifty your moranic rants but it won't work here. Nice exclamation points and smilie faces. Hop in that short bus and lick a window

Lebron impacts the game in so many different ways. He really can dominate on both ends of the floor and in transition.

I don't think its even a fair comparison right now. If Durant isn't shooting lights out, he's not in LeBron's class.

It might be Wade's team right now... but come April.. it will have been LeBron's. This team isn't going anywhere unless LeBron is THE MAN. He's already starting to take the keys away from Wade.... from what I've seen... he handles the ball more than Wade does. Once the stats come out about how much % LeBron accumulates for the Heat, that will tell the real story.

He handles the ball more because Lebron is more of a PG than Wade is. For the Heat to be successful, Lebron needs to keep playing more of a "Magic Johnson" role, as opposed to being MJ. Can't wait to see them whoop the Lakers ass!!

LeBron may have deferred to Wade for scoring, but its Lebron that has elevated this team from "decent" to "great".

Take LeBron out, and they're a 50 win team. Take Wade out, and LeBron simply increases his scoring role like in Cleveland and they still win 60 games.

I love Durant but he will never be on LeDouche's level.. LeBron is an amazing all-around player, while Durant is a pure scorer.

    Who says Durant was better

LeDiva has always been a better passer, better athlete and better all around game, which is why he won MVP last year by a landslide.

Even if Durant was his usual 30 ppg on insane efficiency, he has a lot of work to do on defense before he catches up to LeBron's overall game. LeBron has simply been a demon on defense this year.

The fact of the matter is.. LeBron holds a great percentage of each win than Wade does. The affect he presents in each game is greater than Wade's.. which will essentially make it his team eventually.

I disagree. Lebron is handling the ball as he is functioning as the PG. Wade is their scorer and I have not seen anything to indicate that will change. Lebron's decision to defer to Wade is the only chance they have at winning. Lebron can create while Wade is simply a scorer.

    Side note:

They should have spent Bosh's contract on better role players. He's a huge waste for this team.

    They aren't great yet.
