I gotta say, whoever made this video did a damn fine job. Almost made me want Lebron to go there! <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wrAOSmSIZPs&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wrAOSmSIZPs&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
I have to say. That's one of the most badass videos I've ever seen. I think I could watch it all day. So, what the the hell. LeBron & Wade to Chicago, Bosh to Houston, Miami can grab JJ Redick.
Very nice video...but it felt mostly like a Bulls highlight reel. Even a lot of the highlights of LeBron were against the Bulls, which is sort of an ironic message to be sending if you think about it.
Damn, great editing. Even before watching this video, I thought they would be very interesting to watch with LeBron on the team.
what's so great about this? This is just a collection of highlights. I liked the Cleveland promo video so much better. I don't think this video is good enough to persuade Bron
Nice video but Lebron is a pretty smart guy and that's a long way of making a very basic point - "come here - we have two stars"...notwithstanding the fact Joakim Noah is not a star. I'm sorry - I don't get the "the Bulls are instant title contenders with Lebron" talk. They just gutted the roster for the most part. I mean compared to New York and Miami they look awesome, but I'm not sure Joakim Noah, Derrick Rose, and Lebron take this team to the promised land if their next best player is Taj Gibson. I can see if Bosh joins them but if he doesn't I don't think the Bulls are necessarily THAT much better than the Cavs. Yes, the Cavs without Lebron would lose a lot more games than the Bulls without Lebron but that's also because they molded that team around Lebron. I mean they paid top dollar for a quality stretch 4 just to help open holes in the defense for Lebron. Ultimately I think Chicago has to sell Lebron on the future development of that whole roster under Thibdeau and the ability by the GM to make smart moves that will further his team on the court...oh ya, and prove the owner is willing to spend to keep the quest going. Lebron's no fool - he knows that's part of why Jordan left Chicago.
The whole video consist of Noah and Rose, so adding Lebron to the mix means that they are going to win a championship..??
The Cleveland video did not sit well with me, instead of saying why they were the best team to play for, it basically tried to shame him into staying. As if he has some kind of obligation because of the past, rather than looking toward the future. The Cleveland video was "we are dependent on you". That's sad and pathetic, and unhealthy. It needs to be a win-win relationship, otherwise Cleveland becomes like a deadbeat friend that brings you down but shames you into taking care of him. I liked the Bulls video better, it says we are badass, even if I wasn't persuaded by it.
I don't know if opening a promo video with your target player bricking a few shots is the most compelling way to start...
That promo video sucked after the first 40 seconds, this simple ploy by Nike is freaking awesome though
This vid wasnt all that, definitely wouldnt persuade me if i was LeBron (ohh if I was lebron.. hmmmm) WHOA where was I?? oh yea, the vid.. it was a highlight reel with some threatening music more than anything else.. CLE video was sooo much better, very hard to turn down. Take a look: http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/morethanaplayer_splash_100630.html
Great video from chicago, rose and noah with lebron and maybe boozer would be set for years to come. Cleveland had an ok documentary style of video pitch to lebron, but lebron already spent 7 years at cleveland with no championships. Hope he goes to the Nets or Bulls.
