If you guys compare the stats between Lebron and T-Mac, it's almost identical. If you were the GM and had the choice between these two, who would you choose to play for the Rockets?

    Lebron James:
    PPG 25.1
    RPG 7.20
    APG 7.7

    T-MAC:
    PPG 25.8
    RPG 6.3
    APG 5.8

Ditto. Lebron could be "The One", that is, including His Highness.

James is younger is putting up amazing stats and is a GM dream when it comes to marketing, its really a no-brainer. I still think that T-Mac is a much more complete offensive player, but Lebrons passing ability is amazing. This guy will be something special to watch in the next 15 years.

I think T-Mac is more mature, LeBron is only 19 and he already have a child.

Exactly. I love T-mac and hope he plays here for the rest of his career but if you could swap him for LeBron right now you have to do it.

LBJ is the real deal, he will beat all the records of his airness Michael Jordan. But T-Mac can take us to the promised land, the NBA championship.

Yeah, I love McGrady, but Lebron is averaging the same points (on a better percentage, I would warrant), one more rebound a game, and a full two assists playing with much less talented teammates (in my opinion, of course). The guy hasn't proven yet that he has that killer instinct to will his team to victory, but to be honest neither has T-Mac. The choice is pretty simple.

Edit: Just checked the percentages...James is shooting at an unbelievable 49% clip. McGrady is at 42%. Yeah, I'll take Lebron.

It would be a better question if as a stipulation you took age out of the equation.

At this current moment, I'd take T-mac.

I think he's a little better defensively and is a better shooter.

Lebron is more explosive around the basket (hence the shooting %age). It's sorta like the Dream Shaq argument...Dream's radius of dominance extended a little further but Shaq was far superior when he's under the basket.

Lebron is more conscientious of involving his teammates but T-mac has opened my eyes this year in this department too.
