3 of 4 from three, which is great, but it's nice to see that he's 10 of 13 from inside. Shoots WAY too much from outside.
Finished with 52points but cavs lost to bucks. Some how i just dont think LBJ has reached the elite status yet. He is very very good but he just dont make his teammates better like t-mac or duncan.....
True, but LBJ is way ahead of both Tracy and Duncan at the beginning of their 3rd year in the NBA. I think the Cavs will make the playoffs but that team is missing some key ingredients. Give them some time to find their identity as a team and maybe they will emerge as a strong #4/#5 seed in the East when the season ends.
You guys are way too hard on him. T-Mac scored 62 and lost...it happens when your big men are dominated on the boards. He got 52,7,7 on 19-29 shooting, that's a great night.
Hmm...I thought the Magic lost but I'm probably wrong. Point is...they did a lot of losing that year, but it doesn't mean that T-Mac doesn't make his teammates better. T-Mac also shoots tons of 3's and doesn't get flack for it. I'm not sure why LeBron goes on a different standard, surely T-Mac fans would recognize how losing unfairly taints a player's reputation.
I just hope LBJ wont demand for a trade if the Cavs miss the playoffs again this year, i will lose all the respects of him. In my opinion, he has the abilities to carry the Cavs to playoffs last 2 seasons, in the Eastern Conference, yet he failed. And this year they have all the pieces. If they failed again, James should take all the blame but not the management!
Duncan was something else his 2nd/3rd year, but I'd still take LBJ. Plus, Duncan had a championship level roster and coach. The Cavs don't have either. Not that it applies to the discussion, but TD was 21 when he started competing in the NBA; LBJ was 18. It took MJ 7 years to finally win a championship and people who said he wasn't as good as Magic or Bird up to then were wrong. He was better than anyone WAY before then. I love TD to death. He and DRob are two of my favorite NBA players ever. High character guys who competed at a high level with class. But IMO, LBJ is far more gifted than TD could ever dream of. He just needs more seasoning and a good coach who will push him hard and demand he grow every aspect of his game.
I'm really not criticizing mcgrady, just once again Rocket fans acting almighty. Iverson has been to the NBA Finals.
pgabriel, I completely agree with you on this one. It's funny how when some people completely lose on a point, they still try to get the last word (or post).
