Just watched the piece on Lebron James on 60 Minutes. I had known some of the stuff they talked about him before, such as his hard life and wanting to be a billionaire, but I hadn't heard about him firing his agent and setting up his own corporation to manage his money and image along with hiring three of his childhood friends to run it. Considering his friends had almost no business management expeirence or training they seem to have done very well so far running Lebron INC. An interesting story, even though it was a bit of a puff piece, about a guy who is impressive both off and on the basketball court.
Rocketsjudoka, I believe this was a repeat and they initially showed it back in March or April. Nonetheless it was a nice profile.
Isn't being on 60 Minutes in 2009 kind of like a band playing the Buncombe County Fair circa 1998? You know, the last place STYX and REO Spudwagon went to die.
I figured it probably was since they didn't show anything about the playoff run and only mentioned it at the commentary after the segment.
