LeBron is King. LeBron outscored Blazers 17-15 by himself in 4th quarter and gave the Cavs 1 pt win. Thankyou!
The Blazers deserved to lose this game with that sorry defense the last 5 minutes. I think their lead was still 11 with around 4 minutes left. They were total matadors on that last play. LeBron never should have been allowed to touch the ball. At the same time, LeBron displays his greatness once again. Roy had a solid, not spectacular game but they needed more from him. Just looked at the stats and the Blazers backup PGs were 0-12! Ouch!
I am pissed the Grizz lost to the Nuggets earlier. The Grizz should have the ball game but they are just chaotic. What's good for this Iavaroni guy? Iavaroni doesnt have too much clues.
Portland should never allow Lebron to single-handedly beat them. They should have doubled and trapped him and got the ball out of his hands. No one else on the Cavs seemed to be able to make a shot. That said, I'm glad they didn't.
Their first mistake was putting Roy on LeBron. Roy's not a bad defender but LeBron's just too big and can (and did) overpower Roy...as seen in the last game winning play.
crazy idea, but TMac's last year in his contract is 09/10 Lebron's last year on his contract before he decides to pick up/decline his player option year is 09/10 if the Cavs do nothing in the playoffs from now until the 09/10 season and he is frustrated ala Kobe, maybe we can woo Lebron over here as the successor for Yao's wingman. PS. D. Wade's contract is similar to Lebron, his last year is 09/10 before he decides on his player option year.

Another good game from Lebron. In other news, what the hell ever happened to hard fouls on guys who are carving up your defense. I'm not saying flagrant but at least let a guy know you are there.
Man, it looked like he traveled to me....I thought I counted three. Either way the Blazers lost so I could care less...
It's difficult to hard foul LeBron unless you're throwing him to the ground. Even a strong hack will just brush off his arm...dude's just a tank...most ridiculous wing man body in the NBA.
not the first time he's travelled on a gw shot in today's game, he travelled on a dunk in the first quarter, and he travelled on at least one of the game winning shots against detroit last year in the playoffs. in today's play, you can see it clearly: his last dribble occurs when he's on his right foot, and a few steps later, he takes off from his left foot, hence, a travel. the nba and the refs need to get off his jock and call those damn travels, cuz why should the blazers, or detroit last year, lose on a play when a fundamental, clear-cut rule is being broken? it's like letting a soccer player use his hands to score, a qb passing beyond scrimmage, a hockey player kicking the puck in, etc. the only legitimate reason i can think of for not calling it is if the ref is too busy watching for a foul, or if he's too busy picking up his jaw. knowing and seeing the travel takes so much away from the shot for me... anybody could get an open layup if they were allowed three huge steps
well, looking at the dunk and the game winner in super-slow motion, i can see how it's hard to catch. the thing is, he makes his last dribble while his right foot is planted and his left foot is about halfway down, and he picks up the ball around the time his left foot hits the floor. if you look at legitimate drives though, the last dribble normally happens when the player's left foot is planted, and then he picks up the ball, steps with the right, jumps with the left, and a legal shot attempt is made. i think the key may lie in the difference between when you make your last dribble, when that dribble hits the ground, and when you pick up the ball... but in any case, lebron travelled
