Lebron giving Arian and 'Dre love?!? Even if it's at #2.... :fans: KingJames LeBron James My Top 5 RB's in the NFL: 1.AP 2. Arian Foster 3. LeSean McCoy 4. Matt Forte(Pay him please!) 5. Ray Rice KingJames LeBron James by HoustonTexans Top 5 WR's: 1. Megatron 2. Andre Johnson 3. Steve Smith(Car) 4. Larry Fitz 5. Mike Wallace
I would love to see LeBron cover any of those 5 WR's. NBA players who would make good NFL CB's (top 5). What is the benchmark for that - lateral speed and lane agility plus defensive IQ? 1. LeBron James 2. Rajon Rondo 3. Steve Blake 4. Trenton Hassell (just realized he retired, replace him with Josh Smith) 5. Chris Paul I picked crafty defenders because I don't think outright freaks of nature like Blake Griffin would make good CB's off the bat.
Only one on Ronnie's list that seems to be a CB, is Rondo...James is too big, Blake is too slow, Hassell would be a good tackling CB maybe but far from a cover corner, Paul is too fragile....
Lol at me ever not being serious. Take a gander at this list then get back to me. People call Calvin Johnson megatron, they call me #4. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=209523 Don't be heightest. Just because they're tall and take bigger strides doesn't mean they won't be able to keep up with the 6 footers.
Blake is extremely quick, don't be racist. Jeremy Wariner already proved your type wrong. Hassell had some of the sickest lat speed I've ever seen. And I'm comparing him to guys in the 90s like Ron Harper and Vernon Maxwell. Paul has a low center of gravity and changes direction quickly. Don't let his media rep get in the way of sheer ability. Too big? Maybe that's because all the athletic tall athletes have gone into the NBA instead of the NFL. I could see someone like Corey Brewer faltering but LeBron... has what it takes.
C'mon Ronny... You know quick and fast are 2 different things right...... Although it would be reasonable to think that way, there's nothing racial about my thoughts... Todays receivers are extremely fast and quick.... There are alot of quick PG's but are they fast enough to keep up is the question...
I meant the 5 closest to making the training squad or league. But I don't think much of Nate Robinson. Dude would be better suited as a poor man's Jones Drew than a cornerback.
How would you know? Have you ever done a physical activity in your life? This is the NFL, not fantasy football. Where dreams are made, and hearts are broken.
I'm not just looking at fast guys like Parker, Barbosa and George Hill and saying they're "quick" enough to be CB's. I'm visualizing with my mind. Blake isn't fast in a flatline way, he's quick in a way that allows him to cover PG's like glue. One of the few guys who can stay in front of Chris Paul.
So was Leodis McKlevin... and Jenkins... the list goes on. Didn't Tim Tebow win a heisman trophy... the list goes on. I mean, what is college. We talking bout the NFL. THE PRO'S.
first protein talk...now american football analysis. Next thing you know he'll be wearing heterosexual men's clothes.
